Students pay for education

In every place in this world governments have opened many colleges to allow the students to complete their higher studies. In the UAE there are many colleges as HCT, some people think that students must pay for education at HCT. I do not agree with this, although there are arguments on both sides.
Students have to pay because the students will take more care and seriously in their classes, if they pay they will try to not repeat the course again and try to study harder than whom not pay for the education. Another point is that the college would have a higher budget which means better facilities and teaching materials. The colleges with get a higher budget and can afford new facilities, and new technology to use the newest in technology in facilities equipment. I would also argue that payment for education would support a larger schedule, for example, more and later classes and elective courses. Students can study what they want to study and at what time they want to study.
The main reason why I disagree with the statement at students should pay for education is this is fairer for students from poorer families. For example, a student from a less wealthy family has the same chance to fulfill his dream of getting a good education to get a better life in the future and they can help them families. Another point is that there would be a better mix of students. In other world, students would be from different families and regions of the UAE. I would also argue that students who might not think about studying would have a chance to get a degree than otherwise. For example, a student who might not have a chance to study could apply and get motivated to improve themselves.
There are arguments for and against the statement. However, on balance, I believe the arguments in favour of a free education are stronger than those against students paying for education.

The visitors to Canada, between 1996 to 2006

Canada is a very nice place to visit, it’s to the north of USA, and so the weather there is cooler than in the US. This line graph illustrates the number of visitors over 10 years from two countries Japan and Spain to Canada between the years 1996 to 2006.
The number of Japanese visitors was highest in 1996 to 1999 at more than 800 thousand visitors. The number of Spanish visitors was sharply increased from about 300 thousand in 1996 to about 650 thousand visitors in 1999. But after 1999 the number of visitors from both countries changed, in 2001 the Japanese visitors were reduced to 800 thousand visitors and the number of Spain visitors greatly decreased to about 500 thousand visitors. In the last five years the number or visitors from Japan to Canada started to go up and in 2006 was about 630 thousand visitors and the number of Spanish visitors greatly dropped and in 2006 it reached less than 600 thousand visitors.
In conclusion, the number of Japanese visitors outnumbered the Spanish visitors during the ten-year period.

The Number of the US Farms & Farm workers from (Rewrite)

The lines graph shows the US farms and farm workers in millions between1910 to 2000.
First, the best time was at the beginning of the century from 1910 to 1935, the number of farms was around 6,250,000, and the farm workers were about 13,800,000 workers. In the next decade there was a slight decline in the trend, in 1950 the farms fell to six million farms and the farm workers were reduced to less than 10 million workers. But in the next two years there was a sharp decline in both farms and farm workers, the farms fell to less than four and a half million and the farm workers fell to around half, about 3 million farm workers. In 1970 the fall did not stop and the number of farms and farm workers were close together. The farms fell to around 2 million and the farm workers were about 3 million, this means some farms had only one to two workers.
Nowadays, the government and people in the US know this is a big concern. But, although, the number of farms and farm workers has declined dramatically in the past country, overall the numbers have stabilized since 2000.

Are the examinations in the HCT fair?

From many years students in the HCT have studied to have the certificate of the college to increase their knowledge, but are examinations the best and fairest way of assessment in HCT. In this essay I am going to discuss whether examinations are useful in the HCT or not and why.
Every year many new students come to the HCT to study and these students have exams about every month to know if the students work hard, and to assess them at the end of the term. I think the exams are important to follow up the student and assess them; also these exams help them to know their area of weakness and fix it. These exams help student as well to keep studying well and work hard. The HCT is open more than twenty years and the way of assessing students has been the examination.
As we know, sciences develop in every second. I think the way of studying in the HCT also must develop faster than what’s happenings now. The exams are still not enough to know if the students are ready for the labor market and what is needed in the labor markets in the UAE. The management of the HCT must study the needs of the labor markets in the UAE and what are the areas of weakness of the study in the HCT to improve it. Exams are a good way but maybe the best way to know if the students are ready for work. There are many better ways than exams, one example of these ways is to make an interview with the students or let the student go to work for two to three weeks as a trainee. There are many ways to be used by the HCT management.
To conclude I think the HCT management must change the way of assessment of the student and improve the way of studying depending on what the government needs for future in the UAE and to keep the ways of examinations improving year by year.

This is a big problem not for the US only but for the entire world because the food will reduce and the price will increase so some people cannot buy the food to live.

Changes in Milk Consumption in USA (1950 – 2000)

The graph compares annual consumption of low fat and whole milk in liters per person in the second half of the 20th century in USA. Overall, Americans drink much less milk now than at the start of the period.
The biggest change was the dramatic drop in total milk consumption. It fell from about 130 liters per person in 1950 to only around 90 liters five decades later. The second major was in the type of milk drunk. At the beginning, whole milk was more popular at 120 liters, but it fell sharply to about a quarter that by 2000. In contrast, the amount of low fat milk consumed shot up. It rose from roughly 10 liters in 1950 to five times that in 1980, when consumption was almost tied with whole milk.
In conclusion, the American diet with regard to dairy changes significantly over the time represented. Total consumption decreases but low-fat finally outranks whole milk.

1. Argument essay.

Have you ever considered the fact that every year millions of animals undergo painful death as a result of scientific research? While most people think animal testing is necessary, others are upset by what they see as needless suffering. This essay outlines some of the arguments for and against animal testing.
First, let’s look at the advantages. One very positive point is that many medical treatments and procedures have been developed from such experiments. Since animals share many features with humans, scientists use animals to test the safety and effectiveness of newly developed drugs. Moreover, there is a large supply of animals. Some, such as mice and rats, have many babies, and there is no danger of extinction for these species. Finally some advocates think that animals are less valuable than people. If there is a mistake, it will not cost a human life.
However there are also a number of arguments against animal testing. Perhaps the most important is that animals may be suffering unnecessarily. Critics do not believe that every new drug needs to be tested on animals. Furthermore, some feel animal testing is ineffective; they point out that many drugs still have to be withdrawn from the market despite extensive testing. Last, some campaigners would like to see alternative used. They feel more humane testing is possible and, too, that we could rely more on organ donors.
To conclude, we need to ensure that animals used for experimental purposes do not suffer much pain. Although some animal testing may be unavoidable at present, treating our fellow creatures mercifully will demonstrate our humanity.

Miles travelled in Wales 1990-2005

This table gives/shows to us information about seven different forms of transportation in Wales in 1990 & 2005. Altogether, in 1990 people travelled 4,740 miles compared to 6,475 in 2005.
Starting with walking, 1990 has 255,000 miles, while in 2005 there was a small increase about only 3,000 miles. Bicycles were also used in that time, but there was no big change, it was only about one thousand miles between 1990 & 2005. But we can see there was a clear change with the car users. There was 3,199 thousand miles in 1990, but in 2005 there was 4,806,000 miles of travelled in Wales by cars. In other transports like the local buses we see it was opposite comparing with the three before, because the number of miles decreased in 2005 from 429 in 1990 to 274 thousand miles. In coach the miles 54 thousand, but in 2005 it’s more than double of the number of miles to 124 thousand. Trains in 1990 were about 289,000 miles and in 2005 the number was 366,000 miles. The taxi also increased from 13 to 42 thousand miles in 2005. Finally all modes of transporting in Wales was 4,740,000 miles and in2005 it’s increases to 6,475,000 mile
Overall I think the number usually increases day by day, but we must think of the future live to be safer for the environment and in transportations.

Rewirte/ The illegal drugs

All countries around the world have some problems which affect the countries; there are many kinds of these. One of these problems is the use of illegal drugs. Illegal drug use is causing serious problems in the communities in different sections; there are many ways to solve these situations. Now in this essay I am going to discuss the problems of illegal drug use on societies and the suggest some solutions for illegal drugs.

There are many serious problems with the illegal drugs, one of these problems is the health effects, the drugs causes many health effects like sickness both physical and the mental, the inability to work, overload and Addictive. Another problem is crime associated like stole money, rapes and indecent assault, also the car accidents which kills people. All problems happen while the person is prevented in by amnesia and sometimes the drug abuser don’t remember where he was and don’t know what he did and they don’t control themselves. Also another problem is the social problem; the drug abusers always have bad communication with his family and he always try to skip away from his family responsibility.
Nevertheless, there are many solutions to this problem. The first solution in this battle is controlling the source of the drugs, by a strong hand on the sources and strong law enforcement. Another solution is study the addicts and try to help them. Also, one of solutions is to make many activities to not let the people have free time to think about drugs.
In conclusion, I think the governments should be more strike with the illegal drugs to save the future to be safer for the country kids and the world.

The Three Countries of the UK

This table provides seven categories of information for three UK countries part: Scotland, England, and Wales. Overall, these nations have few similar characteristics.
Starting with population, England has almost ten times Scotland; while Scotland has almost double Wales with 5.2 million people and Wales 2.6 million. England is also the leader in terms of land area: it encompasses over 130,400 sq. kilometers, almost more than 31,000 sq kilometers of its neighbor and almost five times larger than Wales. Turning to exports, we can see that no of this group have the same exports each one of them have his own exportation, and this make them stronger, because each of them needs to the another, like example Scotland has the Oil, heavy engineering products and fish, but in England they export the industrial products, pharmaceuticals and the banking services. And in Wales the export the wool, dairy products and coal. This mixing of goods makes the sharing between them better. In like manner, the entire group shares the same cool and wet climate, but the terrain is almost same between Scotland and Wales are mountainous but in England it’s mainly flat. All of them speak English but also in Scotland the speak Gaelic, and in Wales the also speak Welsh. Finally, all three depend on different economic sectors.
To sum up, none of the countries has much in common. Nevertheless, I think this good for each of them to keep the life moving between them.

Problems and Solutions in Abu Dhabi

(Rewrite Problems and Solutions in Abu Dhabi)

Abu Dhabi is one from the new modern cities in the Arabian Gulf. In the large cities there are always some problems, because of the fast increase in the number of the people.

These days many people are looking for getting a better live, so they move to the large cities to get better chance for a new life and this makes the population in the cities higher and higher. When the number of the population increasing in any place like the cities the government must thinks of some solutions of the problems. I think one of the biggest problems that Abu Dhabi faces is the traffic. The number of cars in Abu Dhabi is increasing everyday, but the road still not insufficient for the cars. The traffic is increasing day by day because the fast increase of the people in Abu Dhabi. One solution of this problem is to make long study of new road projects to at less 20 years.

Another problem is the car parking. There about 75000 parking spaces and more than 200,000 cars in Abu Dhabi. I think the solution of this problem is to change the old parking by (adding new parking floors of many cars).

However, I think the government can solve this problem and reduce it by (making them study very hard), but they must study any step before doing it.
